On August 7, 2017, KPPI (Praise and Divine Healing Crusade) was held at GPdI Elim, Jl. Diponegoro 8, Genteng, Banyuwangi, as collaboration with BAMAG of Genteng District, Banyuwangi, East Java. The event was arranged by Rev. Bambang and attended by 13 churches.
The worship leader opened the service by leading all the congregations to praise and worship God with full of joy. After that, they watched a film of healing testimony that happened to a lady, Mrs. Sugiah. She was healed miraculously from deafness for 2 years at KPPI GPdI Maranatha Banyuwangi on March 19, 2017.
The preaching of the Word of God was delivered by Andry, from KPPI Team of Jakarta, read John 1: 1-4, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him, nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.”
The preacher said that God’s plan for us is a plan of peace and not for an accident (Jeremiah 29:11). Then the congregations were invited to believe in Lord Jesus. Many of them raised up their hands to answer the call. How wonderful to see them accepting Jesus as their personal Savior in their lives
Rev. Henry Panjaitan, from KPPI Team of Jakarta, continued the sermon from John 5: 1-9 about the Healing at the Pool of Bethesda. There was a man who was suffering from paralysis for 38 years and he was patiently waiting for healing from God. The preacher said that we must have faith and patience like this man. That man persistently waited for the moving of the water to get his healing. In fact he never had the chance to be the first person get into the stirring water. But he kept on waiting persistently. Lord Jesus saw this man’s faith and persistence. He stopped by and healed him.
He then called everyone who was sick to come forward to be prayed by counselors from various churches. Thank God, God healed people who suffered from heart disease, foot cramps, breast tumors, and many of other sicknesses. Hallelujah!
The Lord Jesus does not change. He visited His people in Genteng District, Banyuwangi. In that night all the congregations and servants of the Lord were rejoicing at the great things which God has done. All the glory belongs to the Lord.
