Here is a healing miracle story about Santi Yunita (6 years old) as it was told by her grandmother, Sri Hartati.

Santi is my granddaughter. She is the youngest child of my eldest daughter. I already found strange when the first time she was born, she didn’t cry like any other baby.

Since she was one month old, I took care of her. When she was three months old, she almost never cried, even when she felt hungry or wanted to urinate or defecate. Even, when her brothers teased or pinched her, she just kept quiet. Every day, when I was bathing her, feeding her or carrying her, then I always tried to talk with her, hoped that she would respond. But Santi did not even give any response. Santi looked like a mentally retarded child. As the time went by, I worried much about her.

In the year 2000, when she was one year old, Santi was still unable to talk. In the year 2001, when she was two years old, her legs seemed to be very weak that she could not walk. As a result, he could only sit. In the condition of being unable to speak and paralyzed, she would point the thing that she wanted to get for her from her chair while she would say something not clearly. For example, if she wanted to drink, then she would point the glass before her.

In the mid of 2001, I brought Santi to a hospital in Bogor.  The specialist doctor, who checked Santi, suggested Santi get an x-ray test. The result showed that there were no abnormalities in the head, legs, and lungs. The doctor only diagnosed her weak legs with a birth defect and unable to be healed.

Three months later, I brought her again to another hospital in Bogor. She underwent another x-ray test and still with the same result. The next five months I brought her to another pediatrician in a hospital.

Having seen the x-ray result, the doctor told the same thing as the previous doctors. He diagnosed her with a birth defect and could not be healed.  In fact, I still believed within my heart that God would make her speak someday.

In the year 2002, when she was nearly three years old, Santi started to learn to stand up and walk.

But every time she started to walk, she would fall again and again. Her condition didn’t get better until she was six years old. She could stand up and tried to walk only if I held her hands tightly.

On 21 March 2005, one of my neighbors paid a visit. He brought a servant of God to visit us. My neighbor had a pity and felt sorry for Santi’s condition. The servant of God told about KPPI and invited us to come. I was very glad and interested to come to KPPI.

On Thursday, March 24, 2005, with my daughter we brought along Santi to attend KPPI. I really hoped that she would get a healing miracle.

In the service, I felt God’s presence came over me and the Word of God spoke to me, strengthened my faith to believe that Santi would get healed that night.

During the healing prayer, a servant of God prayed for Santi, then she was asked to repeat every word she said. After being prayed, she was asked to say: “Mama… Jesus…” I was so surprised hearing she could say the words clearly. Hallelujah! After that, she was also asked to walk. Awesome. She could walk normally. She didn’t fall down anymore. I almost could not believe what I saw. My daughter who was sitting next to Santi was surprised when she saw Santi walk back and forth normally and was able to speak clearly. Hallelujah. Our God is great! God had healed her, in a spectacular miracle that night. I was so touched.

Santi has grown up to be a normal child like other children. She could walk properly, even, running, even crying loudly when having arguments with her brothers. When she feels hungry or thirsty, she immediately says to me that she wants to eat or drink. All the neighbors around our house were amazed at the healing miracle. Lord Jesus is so good.
