Carolus Woge lives in the village of Wolofeo, about 30 km from Ende district on the island of Flores, East Nusa Tenggara province.

In 1974, when he was 3 years old, he  was playing and running with his friends in the rice field. It was the harvesting time. When he was sitting, he put three grains of rice inside his left ear. Then, he tried to let them out from his left ear, but he failed to do it. He asked his parents to help him take out the three grains of rice inside his ear, but they also failed to do it.

Then, his parents took him to the doctor for a medication. The Doctor sprayed a liquid inside his left ear and tried to get deeper inside his left ear to them out, but it turn out that the three grains of rice couldn’t be taken out.

When he was in Junior High School, he was playing a hose with his little brother. Accidentally, kerosene inside the hose spilled in his left ear which made her left ear felt painful and hot. This caused the hearing problem in his left ear got worse.

As he went to Senior High School, his left ear problem got worse. There were pus and smelled.

Medically, the grains of rice that were inside Carolus Woge’s left ear when he was a child had caused fungus or bacteria to come up which caused inflammation of his left ear. The late treatment caused permanent deafness at his left ear.

As he grew up and became older, his left ear was still deaf. This condition was really disturbing. Many of his girl friends often made laugh at him. He became so embarrassed and unconfident.

Even when he got married, he had difficulty to communicate with his wife.

He came to KPPI in October and November 2003.

On December 4, 2003, he attended KPPI again with a heart full of hope and strong faith that Jesus could heal his ear.

He was very grateful for the help and healing he received from God.

Now, he and his wife are able to communicate well.

God’s love never changes. His power is always poured out to those who believe in Him.
