How precious it is to have the opportunity to experience God’s love. This is always shared at the event of KPPI (Praise and Divine Healing Service).  On Thursday, March 8, 2018, KPPI was conducted in Auditorium of Adventist Building, Jl. MT Haryono, Kav 4-5, Tebet, Pancoran, South Jakarta.

Right at 6.00 pm, the service started the live streaming program that could be seen on Facebook and Youtube. It was shared first the journey of KPPI that has been held for 26 years since 1993 and how Lord Jesus has done so many miracles there.

This service was full of praising and worshipping the Lord for all His goodness and promises. This has strengthened the faith of everyone who had come with hope and longing to see God’s mercy and miracles.

A healing testimony film was aired. It was about a man in a remote village in Central Sulawesi who suffered from waist pain caused by an accident that made him very difficult to do his works. One day the team of KPPI came to his village and conduct a healing service there. God heard his prayers. His waist problem was healed that night.

And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”  Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed. ”Immediately the leprosy left him.  (Luke 5:12-13, NKJV)

The second healing testimony film was about a woman who was healed as she was watching KPPI live streaming on February 8, 2018. She lived in Bengkulu, Sumatera and was in sick condition because of stroke. She couldn’t lift up her right hand and unable to walk normally. Her neighbor came and invited her to watch KPPI live streaming program at their house. She attended and watched the program with the others. God worked and answered her faith. She was healed and could walk normally that night. Praise God.

Rev. Daniel Judah Sumbayak led the congregations to praise and worship the Lord before preaching the Word of God. The Word of God was taken from Luke 7:11-15 about Jesus raised the son of the widow of Nain. Lord Jesus who we believe is God of compassion. He is very great and created all these things and also willing to come down to the earth. He was willing to become very poor, willing to become a human being so that by His blood we are saved.

Why was a great God willing to come down to this earth? Because He wants to save men as there is no other way except He had to come down to this earth. Because of His great love, He came down to earth and only by believing in Him then men will receive salvation. Lord Jesus is a good God for us. He is God who loves men so greatly and every day we are always in His eyes. He longs to be with us every day.

We are greatly loved by God. We should not think that there is no one love and care for us. Instead, Lord Jesus loves us very much. Rev. Daniel Judah Sumbayak led the congregations to come to the Lord and receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.

Before lifting up a healing prayer, Rev. Daniel J Sumbayak read Luke 7:3-9 about Jesus did a miracle to a centurion’s servant who believed deeply in Jesus. Just the same as us who need a miracle, then we must have faith that Jesus is able to heal our sicknesses. All the congregations were asked to have faith that there was nothing impossible with God. That is why if we believe, then healing will take place.

Rev. Daniel Sumbayak then asked every sick person to come to Jesus and come forward to be prayed. The healing prayer was led by Rev. Michael J Sumbayak, Rev. Hezel Sumbayak, and Rev. Judah Pakasi. Miracle by miracle took place.  And they who were healed testified their miracle healing shared by Rev. David Simanjuntak, Rev. Stefanus Sugiharto, and Rev. Yudi Sinambela. They were healed from waist pain, a headache for 10 years caused by an accident, gout, stroke for 3 years, painful knee caused by an accident, pain on both legs and has to use a stick, gastritis, right hand that cannot be moved for 4 months, and pain on the chest and stomach.

A healing miracle also happened to them who join the service through live streaming. A lady in Kutai Barat, Kalimantan, was healed from stomachache and a man in Bali was healed from painful knee and migraine.

After that, Rev. Maruli Sinambela gave an altar call to them who wanted to give their life to be the servant of God to come forward to be prayed. How beautiful, God was present in the midst of His people that night. He came and healed His people. All the glory to God!

The service ended with a message that everyone should return back to his local church to be a blessing there. This service is held since 1993 as an interdenominational ministry by GPPI Pondok Daud Jakarta.
