How beautiful is the love of the Lord that has been poured out for His people. His love is so great as it is always shown in KPPI (Praise and Divine Healing Service) that was held on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the Auditorium of Adventist Building, Jl MT Haryono, Kav 4-5, Tebet. Pancoran, South Jakarta.  Many had come from various places in Jabodetabek. They were waiting for God’s blessings and miracles.

This service was also aired as a Live Streaming program on Facebook. Even there were 155 groups watching the program at their homes, all around Indonesia. Some were watching on the next day after the service.

At first, a short film about the 25 years of KPPI ministry was presented. It is a compilation of photos and videos from the first time KPPI was held in 1993 to 2018. It started from Jakarta and then being held in many cities and islands all around Indonesia.

Rev. Jul A Hutabarat led the congregation to praise and worship the Lord together. The congregation was led to lifting up their hearts joyfully.

There were healing testimonial films presented. The first and second films were about the healing miracles of a boy who was healed from deafness and a lady who was healed from incurable and deadly malignant cancer.  Another healing testimonial came from a lady who was healed from knee pain as she was watching the Live Streaming of KPPI from Facebook in Yogyakarta. The fourth healing testimonial film was about a lady who was healed from vertigo. How good is the Lord and able to do far more than we can imagine.

The Word of God was delivered by Rev. Jacob Sumbayak. God remembers every one of us.  He cares for the sparrow that is very small and cheap, He counts the number of our hair and made us breathe. We should thank the Lord. There is God who cares for us and look at us with great compassion. He is with us in our every step. God is the only hope and our help. Let us bless the Lord’s name.

From our hopelessness let us look at the Lord and asked for His help. He is the Creator of heaven and earth. When we looked at the blue sky we must remember that Jesus is coming again in the sky. We should lift up our hearts and faith to believe that Jesus is coming. We must leave all anxieties and worries of the world, all the worldly things and put our eyes on Jesus. Are we ready for His second coming?

The sermon was taken from  Mark 10:46-52 , NKJV, “Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.”

We learned how this blind man was healed. It is very important to have faith to be saved because Jesus is the Lord God Himself. He is the image of God, the light of God’s glory. We cannot see God but if we want to see Him then look at Jesus. If we believe in Jesus we will be saved.

The blind man couldn’t see but he could hear that Jesus was passing by. That was why he cried out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” He couldn’t see but he used his mouth to cry out. He even couldn’t see where was the hand and the foot of Jesus, but he used his mouth to get the attention of Jesus. Even though he found a challenge, he fought and cried out. Among the big crowd he shouted The Son Of God as he had faith. He had faith that Jesus is the Messiah.

He showed his faith to Jesus. We need faith that Jesus is able to help us, to deliver us and heal us. We must believe and express it in our action.

Finally Jesus asked him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. From the way he acted and cried out God could see his faith.

If believe that Jesus was sent to become our Saviour then we will be saved. If we believe in Jesus it is God’s grace, only given by God. Jesus died on the cross is very precious. When we believe we will be saved.

After that, a call to receive Jesus and believe in Jesus was given. Many stood up to receive Jesus as their Saviour.

Susan Sumbayak came forward and said that God is good. All who ministered in KPPI couldn’t do anything but just believe in Jesus. He is able to help, no matter how hard the problems are. When we already receive Jesus in our heart, what is our hope? We will be picked up when He comes back again. When we were healed and repented don’t go far away from God anymore. Be a living testimony for the glory of the Lord. When He comes back we will be with Him in the sky.

They who had hearing problems were called first to be prayed. A lady who had a hearing problem for one year was healed and could hear clearly.

All the sick people were called to move forward to be prayed. All the counselors and ministers from various churches were called first. After the healing prayer was lifted up all the counselors moved to pray for the sick one by one.

God worked and did miracles. Many kinds of healing had happened. They were healed from hearing problems, breathless, being painful on the stomach for 2 years, vertigo for 20 years, heart problem for 5 years, had complication of womb cancer, swollen kidney and HNP, gallstones for 4 months, cramped hands for 3 years, HNP for a year, hypertension, stroke on the left leg, back pain like being stabbed, pain on the left stomach for 5 years, gastritis for 1 year, waist pain for 12 years, hemorrhage for 6 years, stroke for 3 years, numb hands for 6 months.

Many healing miracles also took place for them who watched the Live Streaming program. A man in Tasikmalaya was healed from pancreas inflammation, a man in Nias was healed from short breathing, a woman in Ambon was healed from hearing problem in 1 month, a lady in Tondano was healed from having a lump on the left ear, a young man in Kupang was healed from chest problem since he was a child.

How great and wonderful are His works. Another message was to remind everyone that there is still time and this is the best opportunity to serve the Lord. Another call was given to them who had the desire to serve the Lord. Many raised their hands and stood up.

The service was closed by Rev. Timotius Dewanto and reminded everyone to return back to their own local churches to be a blessing there.
