It has been around 4 months since Praise and Divine Healing Service (KPPI) was last conducted in January. It was on Thursday, June 20, 2019, the service was finally held again at Adventist Building, Jl. MT Haryono, Kav 4-5, Tebet, Pancoran, South Jakarta. Many had been waiting for this service. It was only because of God’s grace that this service could be conducted. God is so good for His loved ones who had come from Jakarta, Tangerang, Depok, and Bekasi. This service was also aired through Live Streaming program in Facebook.

The short film of the history of KPPI ministry or 25 years started the service. Continued with two healing testimony films.  The first was about a woman who got healed from severe back pain when she was in a small service that watched the Live Streaming program of KPPI in Kupang. The second was about a young woman who was healed in KPPI Jakarta from nearsightedness for one year.

The worship leader led the congregations to worship  God for His mighty works. Another healing testimony film was aired. It was about a young man who was healed miraculously from 2 years of severe waist pain in Pray for the Nation Event in Kao, North Maluku.

Another healing testimonial film was aired about a man who suffered from infected skin disease for 17 years that caused him unable to walk and smelt very badly. He attended KPPI Jakarta and was prayed there. A miracle happened. God healed him totally.

Jesus Became Human Being Because of Us

Pastor Jacob Sumbayak stepped forward and prayed. There is nothing like Jesus, who has great love and willing to come down to earth, became the same like a human being, having a body, flesh and bone, blood, eyes, and ears,  like any other human being. Whereas He is the Son of God, worshiped by all angels and glorified in heaven. But He is willing to come down to earth and being limited as a human being to be able to save and redeem us. Because no one can redeem our sins. It is only His blood that can redeem our sins and His Stripes can heal our sickness. Let us believe in Jesus, believe that there is salvation, forgiveness, and healing in His name. Let us believe in His Word and He will change us.

Every time KPPI was held,  miracles always took place. It is by believing that we can see miracles. How can we believe in Jesus? By hearing the Word of God.  It is only by faith that we can receive healing. By believing in Jesus, a miracle took place. No one can do it, even the servant of God cannot do it. Learn to believe ini Jesus.

Having Faith in Jesus, Son of God 

The Word of God was taken from  Mark 10:46-52 (NKJV)   Jesus Heals Blind Bartimaeus

Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging.  And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!  So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”  And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”  The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road

This beggar was extraordinary. He knew Jesus the Nazarene was passing by and shouted loudly to call Jesus. There was faith in the shouting. Not many people said that  Jesus is the Son of David, that Jesus is the Messiah who has been promised. It was faith to declare that Jesus is not only a man from Nazareth but He is the Son of David, He is the Messiah.

It is just the same when Jesus asked His disciples about who He is.  They said that Jesus is the Son of David, He is the promised One that is the Saviour. When people asked whether He is the Messiah then He answered that He is the One. When the blind beggar shouted loudly, he actually pleaded to Jesus

Now, it is the time to call Him and ask for healing because He is the Saviour. He is Christ, He is the Son of God who can heal and give eternal life. Believe in Jesus,  just like Peter said, ” You are the Messiah.”  We cannot have faith from ourselves. Only God who gave it to work in us. Let Him redeem our sins and forgive our sins.

A call was given to everyone who realized that he is a sinner and want to ask for forgiveness. They were asked to stand up. Almost all were standing up and said a prayer to receive Jesus  as their personal God and Saviour

Many Miracles Took Place

Susan Sumbayak stepped forward and called first they who suffered heart problem. Around 10 people came forward from various age.  A lady who was unable to run for 3 years got healed and was able to run strongly. Another lady who was unable to walk but after she was prayed she could walk for the first time. A man that was first checked by the doctor to have rapid heartbeat got healed and already became normal.

All the sick people were asked to come forward. The counsellors and prayer team were also called to come forward. A healing prayer was conducted first, then all the prayer team was asked to pray for every sick person one by one. Everyone prayed with all their heart. God worked and answered prayers. Many miracles took place.

A lady whose right eye severely blurred and medically incurable got healed and could see clearly. Many other diseases were also healed, such as heart problem for 3 years, hypertension, waist problem for 12 years, HNP on the right leg for 1,5 years, kidney and back problem for 3 years, stroke on the left body, cholesterol, and diabetic

A call was also given to everyone who was willing to serve the Lord. They moved forward and were prayed. It is a precious time to give our life to glorify Him.

The service was ended with a message that everyone should return back to their own church to diligently serve the Lord there.
