Mistar Lumban Gaol lives in Medan, North Sumatra.
He had hearing problem on both ears since he was in elementary school.

It started when he was swimming in a dirty fish pond with his friends. Accidentally, the water got into his left and right ears.

Three days later, his ears felt painful and swollen. His body started to catch fever. His parent tried to clean his ears because he felt painful in his ears.

His ears condition got worse and very bad smelling fluid came out from his ears. This caused his friends chose to stay away from him.

When he was in Junior High School, his hearing got worse. During classes, he always found difficulties. His teacher often read the lesson and asked the students to write it down in their own book. But his papers were always blank since he couldn’t hear the teacher’s voice.

Then, when he was in his Senior High School, he went to the doctor who said that his ear drum membrane were perforated. The doctor gave medicine. When the medicine ran out, there was still an infection in the ear. The doctor said that the fluid caused by the infection made the ear drum membrane became perforated.

Due to this sickness, he couldn’t  hear clearly when someone called him. The person must call him several times before he could hear. There was also buzzing in his ears which frequently made him dizzy.

When he worked in Jakarta, his ear was still painful. He went to the doctor who said that his ear drum membrane were perforated and advised him to contact ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) specialist doctor.

On 20th March 2018, The ENT specialist doctor checked the condition inside his ears with modern tools. Based on CT Scan result on the mastoid bone, that is an important bone in the ear, both of his ears were badly infected. According to the ENT specialist doctor, his left eardrum membrane had already gone and there was a big hole on the right eardrum membrane. He was suggested to undergo an operation to clear up the infection in his ear. The doctor also said that the surgery wouldn’t guarantee his hearing get clearer. That’s why the doctor suggested him to use artificial eardrum. Mistar decided not to take the surgery also didn’t get the artificial eardrum.

He decided to go back home to Medan and visit a doctor in a hospital there. He was given medicine. After the medicine ran out, his ears felt sick again.

A servant of God asked him to attend a Healing Service that was conducted by the team of KPPI Jakarta (Praise and Divine Healing Service) in Gereja Kemuliaan Sion (GKS) in Medan on 8th April 2018.

He attended the healing service and was prayed there. A miracle happened. Mistar could hear clearly. Hallelujah ! Both of his ears were healed by Jesus.

After being healed miraculously by Jesus, he checked his ear to the doctor. The doctor was confused and said to him, “This is a miracle ! Because the eardrum membrane is perforated, but you can clearly hear. Even, you can hear the clockwork.”

The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works (Psalm 145 : 9).
