The Online Program of KPPI (Praise and Divine Healing Service) was held on Monday, July 4, 2022. It was a live-streaming program that could be watched on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.

The Word of God was delivered by Rev. Jacob B. Sumbayak, and taken from Luke 18:35–43 about Jesus healing a blind man near Jericho.

A Blind Man Who believed was Healed by the Lord Jesus

This blind man, even though his eyes were blind, was not blind in his heart and mind. He must have heard about Jesus and the miracles that Jesus performed, and he believed that Jesus was the Son of David or the promised Messiah. This Messiah has the title of Saviour who will free His people from the bondage of sin.

So when people said that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by, he cried out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Luke 18:38). This blind man cried out his faith.

He faced an obstacle where the crowd told him to be quiet, but instead he shouted louder: “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then Jesus stopped. For he heard and knew that there was faith in the cry of the blind man. That’s why Jesus asked: “What do you want Me to do for you?” And the man answered, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.”

So what did Jesus say? “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” So at once the man was healed. This blind man believed that Jesus could heal him and so according to his faith, this blind man got it.

Jesus Not Only Heals But Saves

Likewise with us, what is our longing for Jesus, tell Him and Jesus will answer, as long as we believe in Jesus.

Believe that Jesus came from Heaven promised by the Father. Believe that Jesus can not only heal, but He can atone for our sins. Jesus has done it and the price was that Jesus himself died on the cross to redeem us. We should have been punished for our sins, but Jesus took it upon himself and paid for it with His own blood, because it is impossible for us to pay for our sins.

We may be bound by our sins. Even though we have struggled to be free, sin is like shackles, we even become addicted to those sins. How to release it? Only forgiveness through the blood of Jesus can wash away and release us of our sins.

Whoever believes in Him can ask Him for forgiveness, and will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

For those who want to believe and accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, Rev. Jacob B. Sumbayak led in prayer. How beautiful it is when we receive salvation from Jesus and this is the greatest miracle because we are transferred from death to His Miraculous light. God’s Word says that we who believe, then webecome children of God.

By His Stripes You are Healed

For those who are sick, we can ask God for the Lord Jesus to heal you. Put your hands on your chest if you have breast cancer or tuberculosis. If you have kidney disease and need dialysis, put your hands on your stomach. If there is cancer, either on the nape of the neck or on the neck, put your hands on the affected area and ask Jesus, the Son of David, to heal us.

1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Jesus bore our sins in His body on the cross, and by His stripes we have been healed. Lay one hand on the affected area and raise the other hand to pray with faith in Jesus. Then Rev. Jacob B. Sumbayak led the healing prayer.
