KPPI (Praise and Divine Healing Service) was held again online through live-stream program on Facebook and YouTube on Monday, April 2, 2020.
The Word of God was delivered by Rev. Jacob B Sumbayak from Luke 22:7-13 about Preparation for Passover Meal. Along with His disciples, Jesus was preparing Passover meal. Jesus told His disciples that they would meet a man carrying a jar of water and they would be asked to come to his house and would be shown a large room, all furnished, and they would prepare Passover there. In verse 13, it says, “They left and found things just as Jesus had told them.”
Jesus Is the Omniscient God
What can we learn from these verses? Jesus knows exactly what will happen ahead of us. He is all-knowing because He is the Son of God and God Himself. He is a powerful God.
Therefore, God knows our problems because He is all-knowing God. Whatever happens to us, He knows, He really knows, as what the Bible says, “They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. (NIV)”
Therefore, believe in Jesus as Lord because He knows what will happen. He is powerful and is able to do everything. Don’t hesitate to entrust ourselves to Jesus. Don’t be afraid, even He knows the number of hairs on our head. Matthew 10:30, “And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. (NIV)” He also counts the birds. None of these birds, even the smallest and the cheapest can fall without His permission. Jesus is the Lord who is able to do everything.
Jesus is the Son of God Who Became Man
Jesus is the Son of God who came to this earth as human because He loves us. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Jesus is the Son of God who is glorified in heaven and worshipped by angels. The Word of God in Philippians 2:6-8 (6) Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; (7) rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature [of a servant, being made in human likeness. (8) And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! (NIV)
By His own decision, Jesus was willing to come to this earth, emptied Himself, took the form of a servant, and became the same as humans. And being found in human form he was obedient to death, even death on a cross.
Jesus died on the cross, not because he could not escape the condition, but because He was willing to surrender Himself to suffer and died to atone for our sins and heal our sicknesses.
The Greatest Miracle
Do you want to believe in Jesus? He is able to save you because He has redeemed us with His holy blood.
We celebrate and commemorate Jesus’ death on Good Friday and His resurrection on Resurrection Day. Let us believe in Jesus who died for our sins and rose from the dead, so that we who believe will also be resurrected someday.
Come and believe in Him. Receive Him in your heart and He will come into your Lord. This is the greatest miracle, that we receive salvation in the Lord Jesus.
Miracles of Healing for Us
If we are sick, then we will also receive the next miracle provided for us.
1 Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
The Lord Jesus is the same and remains in power from the past, now and forever. For those who are sick, whatever our illnesses, including illnesses that cannot be cured by medicine, or our lives are said to be just days, the Lord Jesus is able to heal us. His power is unlimited. By Jesus’ wounds we are healed. Believe in Jesus. [yan/lyd]
