God is Faithful 

God always shows His mercies to them who put their hope in Him. He is God of great compassion. The love of God is the message always shared in Praise and Divine Healing Crusade (KPPI) that is conducted on Thursday, August 2017, at Adventist Building, Jalan MT Haryono, Kav 4-5, Tebet, Pancoran, South Jakarta.

Many with a heavy burden in life and sicknesses came from Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Depok here to get help from God. The service is God’s great way to tell about His wonderful love.

Praise and worship always become the characteristic of this crusade. All were praising Him with full heart and joy.

A healing testimony film was presented. A  woman suffered from sickness in her hand for a year that she could not lift up heavy things or move it. Finally, she attended Pray for Duri, God answered her faith. After she was prayed all her pain had gone. She could move and use her hands normally.

The congregations then read loudly the verses from Psalms 37:4 (NKJV) Delight yourself also in the Lord,  And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Another film was presented. A short sermon from the previous service came first. It was shared that Jesus was crucified on the cross to substitute us. He paid our debt of sins. His body was full of wounds. By His stripes we are healed, whatever sickness and weakness we suffer. 

Look at Him that was crucified on the cross. Believe His word. By His stripes, we are healed. Put your eyes on Jesus. Say by His stripes I am healed. Say it to your body, to your sickness, “By His Stripes, my head is healed, my leg is healed, my heart is healed. Say it to your painful body. Nothing is impossible with God. Say it with faith, I am healed by His stripes.”

A testimony of healing miracle was presented then. It was a healing that happened to a lady, Kusiyah Ningsih.  She suffered from a severe headache and numb caused by an accident.  Her head was very sick like being stabbed. She often fainted because of her sickness. She had gone to many doctors and places to find healing. She always prayed even fasted for a healing miracle. Then she attended Pray for Pontianak. God answered her prayer. She was healed after she was prayed.

Keep Asking, Seeking and Knocking

The servant of God, Rev. Jacob Sumbayak, stepped forward to lead a prayer, “Every hour and every second I need You, Lord. Without You I am nothing. How grateful we are that You came 2000 years ago, emptied Yourself and became a servant, a human being. I am very grateful. I cannot wash my sins away. You have become like us and went to the cross to pay our debt of sins replaced me. Thanks be to You Lord. “

The word of God was from Luke 11:9-13 9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

We often relate this verse with blessings. But this verse is not only about material blessings.  It is more than that. It is not only the blessings that are the world but it is more about spiritual blessings. 

Remember the verse about seeking His Kingdom first in Matthew 6: 31-33, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

If you seek the things in the world it is just like the Gentiles seek, they don’t know the Lord. Instead, we must seek spiritual things. How should we ask? Persistently. If you keep on seeking, keep on searching,  you will find Him, the door will be opened to you.

Why is this more about spiritual things? Because it is said that your Father in heaven will give the Holy Spirit to you who ask Him. We have to understand this verse as persistently asking God so He will give you the spiritual knowledge to know Him, to receive heavenly treasure.  That is why we should seek the Lord with our whole heart and with persistently.

The pastor then asked if anyone wanted to seek the Lord persistently and to know Jesus who was crucified. Many raised their hands and stand up. They committed to believing God and were encouraged to love Him,  to run after Him, ask Him persistently to know His great Love,  that made Him come down to earth and die for us. 

Everyone was led to have a prayer of receiving Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour. 

By His Stripes, You Are Healed

Susan Sumbayak stepped forward and led the congregations to worship the Lord.  She called every person who had problems with their waist and stomach to come forward.  They were asked to lay their hands on their sick body. Susan Summbayak led a healing prayer. Some counselors also prayed for them. for every sick person. Miracle by miracle of healing started to happen. A lady was healed from waist problem, also another lady whose got cyst was already gone.  

After that, all counselors were called forward. All the sick people also came forward. The healing prayer was led by Rev. Daniel Judah, Rev. Joseph Maruli Batubara, Rev. Hisar (HKBP Cikini) and Rev.  Judah Pakasi.

God made so many healing miracles. A lady suffered from pain in her stomach for 7 years was healed. Another lady suffered from waist problem for 2 years was healed.  A man suffered from stomach problem for 2 years was healed. Healing happened to a man suffered from pain in his waist and stomach for 6 months. An old woman was healed from waist problem. A lady was healed from a lump in her stomach for 7 years. A man who cannot hear clearly was healed totally.  A woman who cannot move her hands for 2 weeks and cannot move her legs already healed. The last testimony was a child who was paralyzed since she was 6 years old. Her mother regularly brought her to KPPI since then. Years went by and she is now 5 years old. God never changed and answered her prayers. This child now could walk normally

There was also a  call for them who has the desire to serve the Lord. They came forward and were prayed. The service ended with a  message that everyone should return back to his church and become a blessing there. Praise be to God.
